Zhou Xingji’s “Traditional Memorials” and preface were written between the third year of Guanxi (1109) and the seventh year of Zhenghe (1117). The writing of the book “Traditional Memorials” should have been greatly influenced by the emperor. The “Greetings Collection” also edited three lost articles of Zhou Xingji’s “Greetings” and attached to the article.

In the Song Dynasty’s representative academic classics, there is an article titled “Preface to the Gift”, whose author has always been considered Cheng Yichuan (name, 1033-1107). Baoqing.com Rating However, in the past ten years, some scholars have pointed out that Zhu Zi (known as Xi, 1130-1200) is the author of “Preface to the Preface”. However, the author is suspicious of both of these statements. The article “Preface to the Gift” has a great influence. Many of the classics in later generations have been collected and used, so now we will try to make a test certificate to make a test.

1. “The author Cheng Yichuan said” and “The author Zhu Zi said”

The collection of Yichuan’s essays compiled by Cheng Yichuan’s nephew Cheng Bing and Zhu Zi, will not be published in this book. The first person to call the author of “Preface to the Preface” Cheng Yichuan was the “Preface to the Collection of Ancient Literature” and “Preface to the Interpretation of the Sentences of the Literature” compiled by the late Southern Song Dynasty. Wang Tingzhen of Zhuling’s “Preface to the Collection of Ancient essays” [1] was engraved in the reign of Lizong (1224-1264). His volume 5 “Preface to the Preface to the Gift”, and the author is marked as “Yichuan”. Bear Festival,Xiong Xiao’s notes on “The First Collection of Interpretations of the Sentences of the Group of Nature and Reason” [2] include “Preface to the Preface”, and also takes the author Cheng Yichuan as Cheng. Song Wei was nervous and hurriedly pulled it out of the flower world. Although the author’s name is not marked under the topic of this article, the four chapters “Year Order”, “Yihe”, “Yihe” and “Quan” are all “Descriptions by Teacher Yichuan” at the beginning of the volume. In the third year of Zhizhi in the Yuan Dynasty (1323), when Linchuan Zhishanxin edited the “Henan Cheng Family Collection” [3], the first volume of the two Cheng texts of the collection was attached to the end of the volume. The “Preface to the Religion” of Yichuan’s writings collected here are recorded from “Natural Reasons Group Books”. After the “Preface to the Preface” was determined by the “Sheng Yichuan” as Yichuan’s article, “The author Cheng Yichuan said” became widely known and became common. The various “Full Books of Two Chengs” from the Ming and Qing Dynasties and even the proofread version of “Fei Cheng Collection” [4], and the “Classification of Cheng Books” [5] compiled by the Confucian Confucian Song Dynasty [5] are all considered as melody. “Preface to the Book of the Religion” is a writing of Cheng Yichuan, and the classics of the Ming and Qing dynasties are also included, such as the “Preface” Volume 10458 of the “Yongle Dictionary” in the Ming Dynasty (notes quoted from “Natural Reasons”) [6], and the “Collected Works of the Two Chengzi” collected by Zhang Neng of the Qing Dynasty, Volume 1 of the “Two Chengzi” collected by Zhang Neng of the Qing Dynasty. In addition, the Cheng Yichuan Nians compiled since the Qing Dynasty also included “Preface to the Preface to the Gift”, such as the Qing Dynasty Chi Shengchun and Shu Xingpiao, “Preface to the Preface to the Gift” [8], and the “Preface to the Preface to the Gift” [9], and the “Preface to the Gift” edited by Yao Mingda from the People’s Republic of China, and the full text of “Preface to the Gift” [10] was used. In addition, classical notes were also used. The article “The Certificate of the Years and the Imperial Examination of the Years and the Jade Cup” written by Su Xu in the late Qing Dynasty, “It has the disadvantages of the Zhou Dynasty, so it is like this.” He once quoted the article “Preface to the Religion of Yichuan Chengzi” [11].

Since the late Song Dynasty, scholars have generally considered that Cheng Yichuan is the author of “The Preface to the Preface”, and there are no differences. However, in the past ten years, some scholars have questioned the author of “Preface to the Preface to the Gift”, pointing out that “Preface to the Gift” is not a work by Cheng Yichuan, but a work by Zhu Zi. Volume 2 of the tenth volume of the proofreading book “Zhu Xi Collection” collected by Guo Qi and Yin Bo contains the “Preface to the Preface” (edited from “Explanation of the Sentences of the Nature and Reason”), and took the lead in using it as Zhu Zi’s lost article [12], but did not make any evidence. In summary, the 26th volume of “The Complete Book of Zhu Zi” that was compiled into the book is also included in the 4th volume of “The Complete Book of Zhu Zi” edited by Shu Jingnan. The preface to the “Travel” competition has become famous. However, he lacked education – he was admitted before he graduated from junior high school, and believed that it was the preface of Zhu Zi’s re-editor of “Travels and Comments” and published in the first year of Shuxi (1190) [13]. Compared with the ancient “Author Cheng Yichuan’s words”, this statement seems to have the power to come to the top later, such as the Volume 196 of “Zhu Xi” collected in the 250th volume of “Zhu Xi” also includes “Preface to the Religion” [14].

2. The author of “Preface to the Preface to the Gift” is Zhou Xingji

The above text briefly describes the origin and inheritance of “The author of Cheng Yichuan” and “The author of Zhu Xi” in “Preface to the Gift”, as well as the collection of classics from ancient times. The author believes that both statements are wrong. The author of “Preface to the Preface” is neither Cheng Yichuan nor Zhu Zi, but Zhou Xingji, a native of Yichuan (1067-?). There are five evidences, please say:

First, there are differences in the content of the “Preface to the Preface to the Gift” and Zhou Xingji’s “Preface to the Commentary”.

The fourth article of Zhou Xingji’s “Fuji Collection” is about an article with the topic “Preface to the Preface to the Gifts”, and its content is almost completely different from that of the “Preface to the Gifts”. Zhou Xingji’s collection of essays [15] was lost for a long time. At that time, the “Four Books of the Four Library” compiled in the Qing Dynasty, and the library ministers edited eight volumes from the “Yongle Dictionary” [16]. Today, the full text of “Fuji Collection” has been recorded in “Preface to the Preface to the Collection of Ancient Literatures” and “Preface to the Preface to the Collection of Ancient Literatures” (“Fujiu Collection of the Four Library of Wen and Literatures”) and “Preface to the Interpretation of the Sentences of the Group of Sentences” (“Yuan Jianyang Publication Edition). The key points in the text are added by the pen to indicate the differences in the text. Volume 4 of “Fuji Collection” (“Complete Book of the Four Library of Wenjing Siku”) is as follows:
